The real concept of feminism is the idea that the women fight for their rights and be of equal treatment with men. Feminist theories in general promote equality and social construction of sex and gender. On the other hand, Post-Feminism beats the purpose of gender equality in a way that they use sex as empowering women which is very ironic to the real sense of equality. Post-feminism use their inferiority to gain what they want from male.
In addition, post-feminism would also promote inequality in the long run. It can be an advantage for women to use sex as a source of empowerment but this denies the principles of feminism to oppose sexual harassment and sexual assault to some extent. And also, the ideology of Post-Feminism about the use of sex to empower women and outdo men is contrary to Feminism seeks to institute and defend “EQUAL” rights and opportunities for women because women tend to use and sacrifice their body to gain power. It also rejects the true essence of sex in a way that sex is only used as a tool to achieve greater power.
